General
What is Apex Retail Services?
Apex Retail Services is back-office and store-support company for independent retailers in Oregon and Washington. Instead of juggling separate vendors for inventory, pricing and data, and store upkeep, one call to Apex covers it — with a named person accountable for your store.
What areas do you serve?
We serve independent retailers throughout Oregon and Washington.
What’s the relationship between Apex Retail Services and Apex Inventory Service?
Apex Inventory Service is our sister company and handles physical inventory audits specifically — it’s trusted for inventory counts across Oregon and Washington. Apex Retail Services delivers those counts through that partnership, while covering everything else your store needs.
Do you use your own crew, or subcontractors?
For licensed trade work like electrical and plumbing, we work with licensed trade partners operating under Apex management. Either way, you have one point of contact and one company accountable for the work — Apex.
Pricing & getting started
How does pricing work? Do I need to sign a contract?
Everything is month-to-month with no contracts — cancel anytime. Most services are either a flat one-time fee or a monthly plan, and your exact price is confirmed on the free 15-minute consult before anything begins.
Can I change or cancel services later?
Yes. Everything is month-to-month with no long-term contract, so you can adjust or cancel as your needs change.
How do I get started?
Book a free 15-minute consult on the Contact page, or call (971) 236-8207 directly. We’ll tell you plainly which services would help your store, roughly what they’d cost, and which ones you don’t need.
How fast can I get up and running?
After your free consult, most services can be up and running within about two weeks.
TrueMargin Assessment
What is the TrueMargin Assessment, and is it really free?
The TrueMargin Assessment is a free, no-obligation review of your price book, margins, invoices, and shrink to find where your store is losing money and roughly how much you could recover. You get a written report to keep either way — there’s no obligation to fix anything with us. See how it works →
What do I need to provide for a TrueMargin Assessment?
A price book export (CSV or Excel) and a few recent invoices (PDF or photos, up to 25MB each). We work with Petrosoft CStoreOffice, Gilbarco Passport, Verifone Ruby/Commander, Clover, Square, and most other point-of-sale systems.
How long does a TrueMargin Assessment take?
About a week, start to finish — a short in-store visit, then we pull the data and send back a written report with a walkthrough.
