Apex Retail Services (“Apex,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides back-office and store-support services to independent retailers in Oregon and Washington. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through apexretailservices.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us directly. When you request a free consult, book a TrueMargin Assessment, or otherwise contact us through a form on the Site, we collect what you provide — typically your name, store name, phone number, email address, town, and a description of what you need help with.
Files you upload for a TrueMargin Assessment. If you use the TrueMargin Assessment intake form, you may upload business files such as a price book export or recent invoices so we can review them. These files often contain sensitive business information (cost and pricing data, vendor names, item-level details). We collect and use them only to prepare your assessment report.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider logs basic technical information (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and performance purposes. As of this policy’s last update, the Site does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party marketing cookies. If that changes, we’ll update this policy.
How we use your information
- To respond to your consult or assessment request and schedule a call or visit
- To prepare your TrueMargin Assessment, Numbers Plan report, or Store Walk report
- To communicate with you about services, pricing, and scheduling
- To improve the Site and our services
- To meet legal, accounting, or security obligations
We do not sell your information. We do not share the files you upload with anyone outside Apex except the specific team members and licensed trade partners working on your account, and only as needed to do that work.
Where your information is stored
The Site is hosted with Hostinger. Files submitted through the TrueMargin Assessment form are stored in a per-client folder on our hosting account and trigger an internal email alert so our team can begin the review. We keep assessment files and client records for as long as reasonably needed to provide services and maintain business records, and delete them on request (see “Your choices” below).
Cookies
The Site may use essential cookies required for basic functionality (for example, remembering that you dismissed a banner). It does not currently use tracking or advertising cookies.
Third parties
We work with a small number of service providers to run the business — our web host (Hostinger), our email provider, and, for licensed-trade work, contractor partners operating under Apex management. We share only what each of them needs to do their job, and we don’t authorize them to use your information for their own marketing.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we have about you or your store
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information or uploaded files, once we no longer need them for an open engagement

Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for business owners and operators. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the business or the Site changes. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above when we do.
